Self Sovereignty — Holiday Orders FAQ

Giving a piece that starts a conversation? We love that. Every Self Sovereignty item is printed to order, and December is the busiest month of the year for our print partners and couriers. The earlier you order, the more likely your gift arrives on time.

These are our recommended dates, not guarantees. Orders placed after them may still arrive in time, but couriers can't promise delivery before Christmas during peak season.

In New Zealand or Australia? Your order ships internationally from our US print partners, so the international date is the one to watch.

How long will my order take in December?

During the holiday rush, production can take up to 10 business days, rather than the usual 2–5. Shipping then takes 3–8 business days in the US and 7–20 business days internationally. Weekends, weather, flight delays and high volumes can add more time.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, within 12 hours of placing it. Email us as soon as possible with your order number. After that, your piece has usually gone into production and can't be changed. Please double-check sizes and your shipping address before you check out.

What if my gift arrives damaged or faulty?

Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo, and we'll make it right. Between 11 and 31 December, a replacement may not arrive before Christmas. During that window, we'll offer you a full refund instead, so no one is left waiting. See our Refund & Exchange Policy for details.

Gifting tips

  • Get the size right. Because every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or the wrong size. Check the size chart on each product page, or measure a tee they already love.
  • Running late? A Self Sovereignty gift card arrives by email instantly and lets them choose their own piece.
  • Shipping straight to them? Enter their address at checkout and add a note in the order notes.

Our holiday hours

Our team and print partners take a break on 25 December and 1 January. Emails sent on those days will be answered shortly after.
