TO GAZA — Canvas Tote Bag
Gaza's story didn't begin in 2023.
In 1948, over 700,000 Palestinians were expelled or fled their homes during what is known as the Nakba — "the catastrophe" — as the state of Israel was established. Hundreds of villages were depopulated. Many of those refugees and their descendants ended up in Gaza, one of the most densely populated places on earth, where they and their children have lived under blockade since 2007.
Since October 2023, the war in Gaza has killed tens of thousands of people, displaced nearly the entire population, and devastated hospitals, schools, and homes. A ceasefire has been in place since October 2025, but severe humanitarian shortages, displacement, and destruction remain, and rebuilding has barely begun.
This shirt is worn in memory of the Nakba, in solidarity with Gaza, and in hope for a future where Palestinians can live in safety and dignity.
